The State of Qatar has welcomed the recent summit in Alaska between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing optimism that ongoing diplomatic efforts will pave the way for a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast position that dialogue and peaceful negotiation remain the most effective means to resolve regional and international conflicts.

The Ministry further emphasized Qatar’s full support for initiatives that promote peace, stability, and cooperation among nations, underscoring its commitment to efforts that strengthen global security.
