During his visit, HE the Minister met with several high-level Libyan officials. He was joined by Turkey's Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar.
HE Dr Al Attiyah and the Turkish defense minister held a meeting with the Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord of Libya, Fayez Al Sarraj in Tripoli.

The meeting delved into the latest developments in Libya.
The Qatari and Turkish ministers also met with the President of Libya's High Council of State Khalid Al Mishri in the Libyan capital. The meeting focused on the most recent developments in Libya.
Furthermore, during their visit, HE Dr Al Attiyah and Akar held talks with the Libyan Minister of Interior Fathi Bashagha, as well as Libyan Defence Ministry’s Undersecretary Salah Al Namroush, Commander of Central Region Major General Mohammed Al Haddad and Tripoli region Commander Major General Abdulbasit Marwan.

Qatar’s Ambassador to Libya Mohammed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani accompanied by several Qatari Armed Forces’ senior officers also joined the meetings.
Turkey and Qatar have reiterated their support for Libya's internationally recognized government during the trip, Al Jazeera reported.
