Under the umbrella of Qatar Scholarship, Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has signed two agreements with Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Lusail University.
Misfer Al-Shahwani, Deputy Director-General of Projects at QFFD, stated that the agreements are in line with achieving the educational objectives of the State of Qatar in relation to international development and are focused on investing in the existing education infrastructure of Qatar.

Qatar Scholarship comes as a part of the agreement signed between QFFD and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, aiming to attract international students from developing countries to complete their education in one of the postgraduate programs offered by the institute.
Moreover, QFFD has previously signed a partnership agreement with the Institute back in 2018 to improve academic cooperation and other mutual benefits.
Qatar Fund for Development also signed an agreement with Lusail University, marking the first agreement between both entities.
This agreement aims to cover the tuition costs of a number of international students from developing countries who are not residing in the State of Qatar to enroll in the undergraduate program of Lusail University.
The Vice President for Student Affairs at the university Fatima Al Musleh, indicated that the program seeks to provide grants to cover the study costs of a number of international students from developing countries who are not residing in the State of Qatar, to enroll in one of the undergraduate programs offered by Lusail University.
Through this agreement, Lusail University aims to achieve its vision and strategic objectives by creating opportunities for cultural diversity and multinationalism within the university, and the consequent exchange of experiences and enriching knowledge among students.
