The Saad Al Saud star, also known as ‘the third scorpion,’ rose in the skies on Friday night, announced the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).

The star’s rise, which will last for 13 days, coincides with the start of the spring season in Qatar.

The QMD said temperatures during this period would rise intermittently during the day. It will become moderate at night, with northerly wind activity calming down.

Heavy weather fluctuations, ranging from thunder and rain to blowing dust and fog formation, can be expected during this period.
