The weather bureau has forecast strong winds at places across the country and said that slight dust and moderate temperature will be experienced during the day.

Also offshore will be partly cloudy with slight dust.

The wind will northwesterly and move between 10 and 18 knots inshore and the speed would increase to 22 knots and will move at speeds of between 10 and 18 knots offshore.

The wind direction in offshore too will be northwesterly, with a speed between 18 and 28 knots.

Visibility will be some 4km at first, later improving to 4-9km.

According to the weather forecast high seas will be experienced today with one to three feet tides inshore and on offshore between six and nine feet tides.

The maximum and minimum temperature forecast are 12 and 23 degrees C, respectively. In Doha, the temperature will be at a minimum of 13 degrees and maximum of 23 degrees. [The Peninsula]
