The Qatar Meteorology Department has released its weekend weather report, forecasting cold and windy weather, with chances of rain across the country from today, until Saturday (January 24).

Slight dust, strong wind with scattered clouds are expected at the start of each day. For today, the weather is expected to become cold to very cold at night, with northwesterly winds expected at 10 to 20 knots. Wind gusts could reach up to 28 knots during the day.

Relatively cold daytime is predicted for Friday, January 23, and it could turn cold to very cold in some areas at night. 

Cloudy weather is expected on Saturday, January 24, with chances of scattered rain in the north of the country. Strong winds are also expected at sea, with it blowing in the southeasternly direction at 5 to 15 knots.

The temperatures over the weekend will range from a minimum of 12°C to maximum of 22°C. The sea height is expected to be 2 to 4ft, rising to 8ft at times late in the night.
