Qatar has always tried to resolve crisis situations around the world and its interventions have often been highly praised.
Sudanese State Minister at the Ministry of Industry Dr Abdo Dawood Suleiman became the latest person to acknowledge the country’s peace initiatives, reported Gulf Times.
He praised Qatar’s role in establishing lasting peace in the Darfur region of Sudan through the Doha Peace Agreement, according to The Peninsula.
The top Sudanese minister said the relations between the two nations were characterised by the generous joint contributions of the two countries in various fields. He pointed out that Qatari investments boosted the economic stability in Sudan and upgraded its agricultural facilities, reported Qatar Tribune.
The Qatari efforts exceeded the peace process by supporting the programs of the Convention on the ground with generous and sincere contributions, including the establishment of model integrated villages and the promotion of voluntary programs and services for the displaced in their camps.
