Snapchat Bans Fully AI-Generated Videos From Spotlight Platform
Snap Inc. has announced that AI-generated short videos will no longer appear on Spotlight, its content discovery platform, as the company moves to curb the spread of low-quality, automated content.

Snapchat clarified that AI will still have a role on the platform: users can continue using AI tools to edit their videos. However, content that is entirely AI-generated — meaning it wasn't created or filmed by an actual user — will be removed from Spotlight once identified.
