Al Wakrah Bus Station is equipped to serve up to 11,000 passengers a day, with facilities ready to handle 50 buses per hour as part of Qatar’s Public Bus Infrastructure Programme.

The station is one of eight main stations developed under the programme and covers a total area of 115,108 square metres.

It includes 10 bus bays and nine lanes, with services connecting passengers to nine different destinations and key locations.

The station is also equipped with electric bus charging facilities, supporting the operation of electric buses and Qatar’s continued development of more sustainable public transport infrastructure.

Passenger facilities include a ticketing counter, waiting area, administrative offices, a mosque and a commercial facility, providing essential services within the station.

With capacity for 11,000 passengers each day and facilities capable of handling 50 buses every hour, Al Wakrah Bus Station forms part of the wider infrastructure supporting Qatar’s public bus network.
