The Meteorology Department has forecast hot to very hot daytime conditions on the coast on August 16, with relatively humid weather expected at night.
Until 6:00 PM, coastal conditions are expected to include suspended dust initially and some clouds. Offshore, suspended dust is also expected initially, with scattered clouds at times.
Winds on the coast will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots. Offshore winds will be variable, mainly southeasterly to northeasterly, at 3 to 12 knots.
Wave heights on the coast will range from one to two feet, while offshore waves will range from one to three feet.
Horizontal visibility is expected to range from 4 to 10 kilometres on the coast and from 4 to 9 kilometres offshore.
The highest temperature forecast in Doha is 45°C.
High tide in Doha is expected at 1:38 PM, with low tide at 6:16 AM. In Dukhan, high tide is at 6:15 AM and low tide at 12:28 PM.
Mesaieed will see high tide at 1:48 PM and low tide at 8:17 AM, while Al Wakra will record high tide at 1:20 PM and low tide at 7:49 AM.
In Al Khor, high tide is expected at 11:33 AM and low tide at 6:00 PM. Al Ruwais will see high tide at 1:48 PM and low tide at 7:33 AM.
In Abu Samra, high tide is expected at 6:37 AM and low tide at 12:08 PM.
Sunset is expected at 6:08 PM.
