Cloudy conditions and rain possible from Monday Nov 9

Qatar could experience increased cloud cover, scattered rain and possible thunderstorms from Monday, November 9, according to the latest weather outlook issued by the Qatar Meteorology Department.

The unsettled conditions are expected to continue through the end of next week.

Qatar Meteorology said conditions are forecast to range from partly cloudy to cloudy, with scattered rainfall possible over some areas.

Thunderstorms possible in some areas

Some rain clouds may develop into thunderstorms at times.

The department said these conditions could also produce strong downdraft winds, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility in affected areas.

The forecast does not mean thunderstorms or rain will occur across the entire country, with conditions likely to vary between locations.

Cloud cover to increase from Monday

According to the latest weather charts, cloud cover is expected to begin increasing from Monday, November 9.

The unsettled pattern is forecast to remain in place through the end of the following week, although daily conditions may change as updated forecasts become available.

Residents urged to exercise caution

Qatar Meteorology has advised residents to exercise caution, follow safety guidelines and monitor its official channels for the latest weather updates.

Weather conditions associated with thunderstorms can change quickly, particularly where strong downdraft winds develop.
