Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the rescheduling of all medical appointments scheduled between July 13 and 16, 2026 following the declaration of a national mourning period and the suspension of work across government entities.
In a notice to patients, HMC said that all affected appointments will be rearranged and that patients will be contacted directly with their new appointment dates.
The corporation confirmed that outpatient clinics will resume normal operations on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
HMC also advised patients requiring urgent medical attention to continue visiting the nearest Emergency Department, where emergency services remain available.
For further information or assistance, patients can contact the Nesma'ak customer service line on 16060.
The announcement follows the declaration of a four-day national mourning period in Qatar after the passing of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, during which work at ministries, government agencies and public institutions has been suspended.
