HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received his brother, HM Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, upon his arrival at the Amiri Terminal at Hamad International Airport on a fraternal visit to Qatar.
Also present at the reception were HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs; HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya"; HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; and HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs.
The reception was also attended by HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry; HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Minister of Transport; HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; and a number of senior officials.
Also present were HE Sheikh Mubarak bin Fahad Al Thani, Qatar’s Ambassador to Oman, and HE Ammar bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Oman’s Ambassador to Qatar.
HM Sultan Haitham was accompanied by HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat; HE Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; HE General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office; HE Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; and HE Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
A number of other members of the official Omani delegation also accompanied HM the Sultan during the visit.
