The Unified Permanent Committee for the Selection of Military Institutions’ Officer Candidates has announced the opening of registration for holders of the General Secondary Education Certificate or its equivalent to join military institutions under the Diploma – Other Ranks programme.
The registration is open to men and women from August 8 to 29.
The programmes available include diplomas in Military Studies, Police Sciences and Crisis, Disaster and Safety Management, Security Studies, and Security and Protection.
Applicants must be Qatari nationals, hold a General Secondary Education Certificate or equivalent qualification, and be no older than 26 years when registration opens.
They must also have a good reputation and conduct, have no disqualifying criminal convictions, and must not have been dismissed from public service through a disciplinary ruling or final decision.
Applicants are required to pass the medical fitness examination, physical fitness tests, and personal interview. The committee may also impose additional requirements or examinations when necessary.
Applicants must upload a certified copy of their secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification, a copy of their ID card, a copy of their birth certificate, and a certificate from the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau confirming that they are not employed by a government entity.
Registration is available through the committee’s electronic portal at upc.moi.gov.qa.
