HH the Amir reconstitutes QatarEnergy Board of Directors
His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani today issued Amiri Decree No. 42 of 2026 to reconstitute the Board of Directors of QatarEnergy.
The resolution stipulates that the Board of Directors of QatarEnergy, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, and His Excellency Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi as Vice Chairman and Managing Director, will be reconstituted, and the membership of His Excellency Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani, Mr. Nasser Khalil Al-Jaida, Mr. Ahmed Saif Al-Sulaiti, Mr. Abdulaziz Jassim Al-Muftah, and Mr. Abdulrahman Ahmed Al-Shaibi.
The resolution also stipulated that the term of membership of the Council shall be four years, renewable for one or more similar periods.
The decision stipulated that it be implemented, implemented from the date of its issuance, and published in the Official Gazette.
