Kuwait’s armed forces successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile and 10 hostile drones that entered the country’s airspace early Thursday, the Defense Ministry said.

Col. Staff Saud Al Atwan, the ministry’s official spokesperson, said the interception operations resulted in material damage after debris fell in several locations across the country.

He added that one person was injured and is receiving medical treatment in stable condition.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team of the Land Forces Engineering Corps also responded to multiple reports related to debris left from the interception operations.

Kuwait’s armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out their duties with readiness and professionalism.

They also stressed their continued preparedness to safeguard the country’s security and ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
