An AFP correspondent in Bahrain’s capital, Manama, heard explosions on Thursday as air-raid sirens were activated for a third time.
The sirens sounded hours after Iranian attacks overnight.
"Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place,” Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said in a post on X.
