Ministry of Culture Hosts Pakistani Cultural and Heritage Event at Beit Al-Sulaiti

Beit Al-Sulaiti, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, hosted a cultural and heritage event for the Pakistani community, bringing together visual arts, music, poetry and traditional crafts.

The event featured the participation of several artists residing in Qatar and Pakistan.

The programme included an art exhibition showcasing paintings and artworks reflecting different aspects of Pakistani culture and artistic heritage. It also featured seven prints inspired by the Mughal era, alongside publications highlighting notable historical and artistic milestones.

A poetry evening celebrated poetry and literature, while a live Pakistani music ensemble performed a selection of traditional songs with the participation of artists and musicians.

The event also included a display of Pakistani pottery, highlighting an aspect of the country’s traditional crafts and artistic heritage.

The event forms part of Beit Al-Sulaiti’s ongoing programmes that provide expatriate communities in Qatar with a platform to showcase their cultural and artistic heritage, raise awareness of their customs and traditions, and encourage cultural exchange among the diverse communities living in the country.
