The Ministry of Municipality has launched 38 new electronic services through the Oun smartphone app as part of its digital transformation project for public services.
The new additions cover several service areas, including import procedures, veterinary health certificates for export, additional import services, veterinary quarantine, company registration and agricultural services.
The 38 services comprise nine import services, 10 veterinary health certificate services for exports, eight additional import services, six veterinary quarantine services and five services related to company registration and agricultural procedures.
Through the app, users can select the required service, enter the necessary information, attach supporting documents where required, submit the request electronically and follow its status through the application.
To use the services, users can download the Oun app, sign in using their QID and mobile number, enter the one-time verification code sent to their phone and then select the required service from the available options.
The Ministry said the expansion forms part of its efforts to develop public services, simplify procedures and make them available electronically. The app can be downloaded through the link shared by the Ministry.
