Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Makes Falcon Document Collection Service Available at Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Wildlife Development Department, announced the availability of a service for collecting falcon documents (passports) through its office at Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital. The service forms part of its ongoing plan to develop public services and facilitate transactions for the falconry community in the State of Qatar.

The Ministry said in a statement today that the service is provided during official working hours from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm. It saves falcon owners time and effort and provides a convenient service channel at a central, easily accessible location, particularly with the start of the hunting season and heritage festivals.

The Ministry said the move reflects its commitment to enhancing the efficiency of administrative processes while fully complying with the applicable environmental and legal regulations and requirements. It stressed the importance of preserving falcon hunting and falconry as an authentic cultural heritage of Qatari society, while balancing the preservation of this heritage with the protection of wildlife and biodiversity.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change called on all falcon owners to use the service through the Wildlife Development Department's office at the hospital during the specified hours. It reaffirmed its commitment to continually improving service quality to achieve the highest levels of beneficiary satisfaction.
