MOI receives first-place recognition at Arab drug-control conference

The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Interior, has achieved a new milestone by securing first place in the award for the best joint operational information field cooperation in the field of drug control.

The announcement of the win came during the proceedings of the 40th Arab Conference of Heads of Drug Control Agencies, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab Interior Ministers' Council in Tunisia, with the Ministry participating through a delegation headed by Brigadier General Rashid Saqr Al-Kaabi, Director General of Drug Control.

The conference, with Arab and international participation, discusses a number of topics related to drug control, alongside reviewing the experiences and plans of member states.

This win serves as recognition of the Ministry's efforts in enhancing coordination and exchanging information and expertise with counterpart agencies, and it reflects the importance of joint Arab security cooperation in combating drugs and psychotropic substances and protecting society from their risks.
