The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has issued a public notice urging citizens and residents to refrain from approaching or handling any suspicious or unknown objects found in public areas. This directive follows the successful interception of aerial attacks over the weekend, which resulted in scattered debris in some locations.
Emergency Reporting Authorities have stressed that anyone encountering unidentified remains or suspicious items should immediately contact the emergency services by calling (999). The Ministry warned that tampering with such objects poses significant risks and could hinder the ongoing work of specialized teams.
Enhanced Security Measures Security patrols and emergency response units remain deployed across the country in accordance with pre-approved readiness plans. The MoI emphasized that public adherence to these instructions is vital to:
- Enhance public safety and minimize risk to individuals.
- Support swift response by allowing Civil Defense and security patrols to operate without obstruction.
- Maintain order and ensure the continuity of essential services.
Official Guidance Residents are further advised to avoid gathering at incident sites and to limit movement to essential needs only. The Ministry reiterated that information should be obtained exclusively from official government channels to avoid the spread of unverified rumors.
