Qatar Fencer Adham Al Deeb Wins Another Asian Silver Medal

Adham Al Deeb, a member of Qatar’s national fencing team, won the silver medal in the individual foil event at the Asian Junior Fencing Championships currently being held in Bahrain, adding another achievement to Qatar’s sporting record at the continental level.

Al Deeb secured the medal after delivering strong technical performances before contesting an exciting final against top seed Lau Kenji Tsun Yin of Hong Kong. Lau won the closely contested encounter by a single touch, 15–14, leaving Al Deeb with the silver medal.

The silver medal provides an important morale boost for the Qatari fencer before he competes at the Summer Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026.
