Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani announced the launch of Doha Investment, a platform established to manage and grow the Qatar Investment Authority’s domestic portfolio and expand the private sector’s role in Qatar’s economic growth, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The announcement was made during his opening remarks at the Qatar Economic Forum, UNGA Special Edition 2026, in New York. Companies named as partners include Qatar Airways, QNB, Qatar Diar, Katara Hospitality, Hamad International Airport, Mowasalat, Hassad Food, Msheireb Downtown Doha, Al Meera, Mwani Qatar and Ooredoo.
