Through its digital platform, talabat aims to increase visibility for local products and make them easier for customers to discover and purchase.
talabat, the leading everyday app in the MENA region, is once again supporting this year’s National Product Week in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI). Running from 5 to 12 November, talabat will leverage its digital platform to champion locally made products and help customers discover Qatari-made products, connect local businesses with customers, and encourage the community to shop local.
Throughout the week, talabat will spotlight locally made products through its in-app visibility features, social and digital channels, making it easier for customers to discover and support Qatari brands. Eligible products across talabat mart and participating partner stores will also feature the Ministry's official Made in Qatar branding, helping customers easily identify locally manufactured goods while shopping.
Moaiad Aqel, Managing Director of talabat Qatar, said: “National Product Week celebrates the creativity and passion behind Qatar’s homegrown brands, and we are proud to continue supporting this important initiative alongside the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. By leveraging our platform and resources, we aim to bring Qatari-made products closer to customers, making them a natural choice for everyday shopping while helping local businesses reach new customers and grow. Every Made in Qatar purchase is a meaningful contribution to the diversified economy envisioned by Qatar National Vision 2030, and we are proud to play a role in driving that progress.”
Organized annually by MOCI, National Product Week highlights the quality, diversity and competitiveness of locally manufactured goods, showcasing the capabilities of Qatar’s national industries and their growing contribution to the country’s economy. talabat’s continued participation reflects its long-standing commitment to supporting national initiatives and strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Customers can explore and purchase Made in Qatar products on the talabat app, available on the iOS App Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery.
