Visit Qatar, Satguru Travel Sign Strategic Partnership at WTM London 2026

Visit Qatar signed a one-year strategic partnership agreement with Satguru Travel & Tours during World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, aiming to increase leisure visitation to the State of Qatar from six priority markets across Africa.

Qatar Tourism said the agreement builds on the memorandum of understanding signed by the two parties during Arabian Travel Market 2025. It establishes a framework for jointly promoting the State of Qatar as a tourism destination and developing integrated visitor packages.

Under the partnership, the two parties will collaborate on destination marketing, strengthen engagement with travel agencies and trade partners, develop travel packages and facilitate visitor journeys from the target markets.

The joint promotional campaigns will focus on four themes: Sports & Competitions, Winter Sun & Outdoors, Family & Festive, and Culture & Celebration.

Satguru, which operates in more than 80 countries and has offices in 42 African countries, will lead promotional efforts, trade engagement and package development in the target markets. Visit Qatar will provide promotional content and highlight its calendar of events.

The agreement forms part of Visit Qatar's efforts to strengthen its presence across 11 priority markets in Africa, expand its travel and tourism partnerships and attract more visitors, supporting tourism's position as a driver of economic growth and diversification in the State of Qatar.
