The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks on the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Kuwait, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of both countries and a blatant breach of international law.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to spare the region the consequences of these unjustified attacks. It also underlined the importance of continuing dialogue and diplomacy, de-escalating tensions, and building on the gains achieved within the framework of the memorandum of understanding.
The ministry said these efforts would contribute to strengthening security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
Qatar also renewed its full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, affirming its support for all measures taken by the two countries to preserve their sovereignty and security.
