Resignation of QFA President Jassim Rashid Al Buenain

HE Jassim Rashid Al Buenain, President of the Qatar Football Association, announced his official resignation from his position.

Al Buenain said in a statement posted on his personal account on X that he was submitting his resignation after three years of service as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Football Association.

He described the period as one full of challenges, adding that determination and dedication helped turn ambitions into reality.

Al Buenain stressed that public interest had always been, and would remain, above all considerations.

He also said sincere intentions are capable of overcoming all obstacles.

He concluded by wishing Qatari football continued success, progress and prosperity in the years ahead.
