Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will send an SMS to individuals stating that they will be required to visit their health centers to receive their second COVID-19 dose.
This is due to the overwhelming response received at the COVID-19 drive-through vaccination centers in Qatar.
The SMS highlighted that individuals would receive a follow-up SMS regarding the confirmation of their second dose and that they will be required to visit the Health Center they provided their first COVID-19 dose.
It also pointed out that you will be required to show the green status on the Ehteraz app, in addition to the vaccination card and QID.
The SMS also urges the visitor to wear a mask and follow the precautionary measures at all times.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Public Health had communicated some tips that help you when visiting the COVID-19 vaccination centers at Lusail and Al Wakra.
To enable a wider section of Qatar's population to be vaccinated and become protected against COVID-19, the Ministry also lowered the eligibility threshold to 35 years of age.
