HMC opens Sealine seasonal clinic for Qatar’s winter camping season

Hamad Medical Corporation has opened its seasonal medical clinic at Sealine Beach to provide healthcare services to campers and visitors during Qatar’s 2026–27 winter camping season.

The clinic opened on Thursday, October 29 and will continue operating throughout the camping season.

It provides treatment for minor medical cases, while patients requiring more advanced or urgent care can be transferred to hospital by road ambulance or air ambulance.

What are the Sealine clinic operating hours?

According to HMC, the clinic will operate each week:

From Thursday at 2pm continuously until Saturday at 6pm.

The service is designed to provide easier access to medical care for people spending weekends in Sealine and the surrounding camping areas.

What services are available?

The seasonal clinic primarily treats minor illnesses and injuries that can be managed on site.

In previous camping seasons, HMC has equipped the Sealine clinic to deal with conditions commonly encountered by campers and beach visitors, including minor injuries, burns, wounds and illnesses.

Patients with serious injuries or critical medical conditions can be transferred directly to hospital using HMC Ambulance Service vehicles or air ambulance, depending on the severity and location of the case.

Clinic returns for annual camping season

HMC has operated a seasonal medical clinic in Sealine for more than 15 years as part of its healthcare coverage during Qatar’s winter camping period.

During the 2025–26 season, the clinic operated from October 16, 2025 until April 11, 2026.

The service supports visitors to Sealine, nearby beaches and camping areas during one of the busiest outdoor periods of the year.

Qatar’s 2026–27 camping season underway

Qatar’s 2026–27 winter camping season officially began on October 25 and is scheduled to continue until April 20, according to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

Sealine is among the designated camping areas in the southern region.

Campers and visitors are encouraged to follow safety instructions, particularly when driving in dune areas, swimming, preparing food or using fires and barbecues.
