The Qatar Calendar House announced today that Wednesday (11) November 2026 is the first day of the month of Jumada al-Akhirah for the year 1448 AH, God willing, according to the accurate astronomical calculations made by the specialists.

Dr. Faisal Al Ansari, Executive Director of Qatar Calendar House, stated that the crescent of this year's Jumada al-Akhira will be born tomorrow, Monday, November 9, 2026 (Investigation Day), at (10:03 a.m. Doha local time (7:03 p.m. GMT).

Dr. Faisal Al-Ansari added that it is impossible to see the crescent of the month of Jumada al-Akhirah for the year 1448 AH on the evening of the day of investigation (Monday, November 9, 2026) in the sky of the State of Qatar and most Arab countries, because it will set 10 minutes before sunset on that day.
