Qatar Calendar House has opened registration for a new series of Astronomy Camp sessions in Al Ameriya, offering participants the chance to observe stars, planets and the Moon away from the brighter lights of the city.

The outdoor astronomy programme will run across three upcoming sessions, with separate dates for women and men aged 16 and above.

The camp combines practical observation with introductory astronomy activities.

The location has been selected for its darker skies, providing better conditions for astronomical observation away from urban light pollution.
