Sealine service providers can now apply for temporary commercial licences

Service providers operating in Qatar’s Sealine area can now apply for a temporary commercial licence and register their service prices under a new initiative announced by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The service has been introduced in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.
Where can applications be submitted?
Applications for the temporary commercial licence can be submitted through the:
Government Services Center – Al Wakrah Branch
The Ministry has also provided a QR code through which service providers can access the steps and procedures required to register their prices.
What documents are required?
According to the announcement, applicants should prepare the following documents:
- A tenancy relationship declaration form stamped by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change
- An undertaking to provide the required security and safety measures
- A Civil Defence certificate, required specifically for motorcycle shops
Applicants are advised to ensure their documentation is complete before submitting the request.
Price registration also available
Alongside temporary commercial licensing, businesses operating in Sealine can register the prices of the services they provide.
The Ministry has made the price-registration procedure available through the QR code included in its official announcement, allowing service providers to review the application steps and requirements.
The move provides a formal framework for businesses and service providers operating in the Sealine area while helping regulate commercial activity and pricing.
