Qatar Airways passengers gain easier access to nine more Canadian cities

Qatar Airways and Canadian airline WestJet have announced the launch of a codeshare agreement within Canada, providing passengers with a wider choice and a smoother travel experience to new destinations across the country.

According to a statement from the airline, Qatar Airways passengers will be able to continue their flights through Toronto and Montreal to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Regina, Saskatoon, St. John's and Winnipeg. WestJet passengers in Canada will also benefit from access to the airline's network of more than 170 destinations around the world for business and leisure travel, including New Delhi, Nairobi, Singapore and Jeddah.

The partnership complements Qatar Airways' expansion plans in Canada, where the airline will increase its flight frequency from 12 to 14 per week, from 25 October, including daily flights to Toronto and Montreal. WestJet's addition to the airline's growing list of partners reflects Qatar Airways' continued focus on building partnerships that will elevate the travel experience around the world.

Founded in 1996, Canadian airline WestJet today includes WestJet Airlines, WestJet Vacations, Vacances WestJet Quebec and Sunwing Vacations, making it one of Canada's leading airlines and the country's largest vacation program provider.
