The Control and Inspection Unit of the Qatari Hajj Mission has intensified inspection tours of accommodation facilities and campaign headquarters ahead of the arrival of pilgrims from Qatar starting on the fourth of Dhu al-Hijjah.

The inspections aim to ensure full readiness and the highest health and food safety standards for pilgrims. Mohammed Hassan Al Kaabi, Head of the Control and Inspection Unit, said the tours are part of an integrated monitoring system to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.

Inspection teams are assessing bedrooms, prayer halls, dining and reception areas, cleanliness levels, and facility preparedness, while also reviewing kitchens and food preparation areas to ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.

Officials from the Ministry of Municipality are participating in the inspections as part of coordinated efforts among state institutions. Monitoring began during Dhu al-Qi’dah through preliminary visits, with follow-up inspections continuing throughout the Hajj season, including at camps in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat.

The mission has also introduced free complaint and inquiry hotlines: 132 within Qatar and 8003040444 within Saudi Arabia.
