The FIP World Cup Qatar 2026 brings 32 national padel teams to Doha from 2 to 7 November, with the men’s and women’s world titles to be decided at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex. The event features 16 men’s teams and 16 women’s teams and is organised by the International Padel Federation (FIP) in collaboration with the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Padel Federation.
Qatar will compete in both categories as the host nation. Whether you follow padel closely or are planning to watch it for the first time, here is how the competition works, when the matches take place and how to attend.
When and where is the FIP World Cup?
The tournament takes place at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha from Monday, 2 November, to Saturday, 7 November 2026. The opening ceremony and group-stage draws are scheduled for Sunday, 1 November, before the first competitive matches the following day.
Matches will be played on Centre Court and the side courts. The official ticketing schedule lists sessions from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on 2–6 November, and from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM on 7 November. These are advertised session windows, not guarantees of an individual match’s start time. Match order and court assignments should be checked through the organiser before visiting.
How does the competition work?
Each of the men’s and women’s competitions has 16 national teams, divided into four groups of four. Teams face the other nations in their group from 2–4 November, with national-team ties contested over a best-of-three format.
The top two teams from each group progress to the quarter-finals on Thursday, 5 November. The semi-finals are on Friday, 6 November, followed by the third-place matches and the men’s and women’s finals on Saturday, 7 November. Teams outside the quarter-finals continue playing classification matches to determine the remaining finishing positions.
For the group stage, the International Padel Federation has announced women’s matches beginning at 2:00 PM and men’s matches at 6:00 PM, Qatar time. Check the official FIP tournament page for the latest draws, match information and results.
Which teams should you watch?
Host nation Qatar is among the competing teams in both categories. Argentina enter as the defending men’s champions after winning the 2024 title, while Spain are the defending women’s champions. The final qualifying places were secured by Australia in the men’s competition and by Indonesia and Egypt in the women’s competition.
The International Padel Federation has also announced that leading players from the international game are expected in Doha. This year’s World Cup has a record €1.2 million prize fund, shared equally between the men’s and women’s tournaments.
Tickets, prices and entry rules
The World Cup is a ticketed event. Tickets are Starting from QAR 50 on the official Ticky2 booking page, linked from the organiser’s Qatar Padel website.
Centre Court tickets provide access to the assigned Centre Court seating and may also allow entry to side-court stands, subject to availability. Ground Passes cover the outside courts and the Public Village but do not include Centre Court access. Children under five are not permitted in the court stands, including the outside courts, even with a ticket.
Tickets are valid for the date and seating area shown. The organiser also lists an on-site ticket booth near the public entrance, operating daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Spectators should use official ticket channels and review the event’s ticket conditions, including entry and re-entry requirements.
Planning your visit
Choose your preferred match day, compare Centre Court and side-court access, and allow time for ticket checks and venue security. For changes to the schedule, match results and ticket availability, use the official tournament website and the FIP match centre before setting off.
