DOHA, 16 August 2026: In the presence of a number of Their Excellencies and officials, as well as representatives of sports clubs in Qatar, the Hayyoh platform was launched today, Sunday, 16 August 2026. The new national initiative aims to strengthen fan engagement and increase participation in sporting events across the State of Qatar through an integrated digital ecosystem. It offers fans a new experience that rewards loyalty through attendance, participation and engagement, helping to deepen the community’s connection with sport and encouraging continued participation in sporting events.
The launch took place during a press conference attended by representatives of all local media outlets, at which the Hayyoh platform was officially launched. Hayyoh introduces a new approach to sports engagement based on rewarding fans for their active participation. Users can attend eligible sporting events, collect points, advance through membership tiers and then redeem their points balance for a diverse range of exclusive rewards, offers and experiences from a network of partners.
The Hayyoh experience is built around a simple and straightforward concept: “Buy. Attend. Earn. Redeem.” Users can discover eligible sporting events through the platform, obtain tickets and attend the event. Once their attendance has been verified, Hayyoh points are credited to their account. Users receive 1,000 Base Points for each eligible sporting event, subject to the approved terms and conditions.
Users can redeem the points they collect for a diverse range of exclusive rewards, offers and experiences provided by Hayyoh’s partner network. This gives their attendance at sporting events additional value and encourages them to continue participating.
The platform also enables users to progress through five membership tiers that reflect their level of activity and continued participation. The tiers begin with Member, followed by Bronze, Silver and Gold, and culminate in Platinum, the highest tier. This adds a motivational dimension to the experience, encouraging users to attend and participate more often and progress to higher tiers, with benefits linked to each tier.
Registration and membership in Hayyoh are free of charge for Qatari citizens and residents of the State of Qatar who hold a valid Qatar ID. Young people aged 12 to 17 may also participate through a dedicated account, subject to the consent of a parent or legal guardian. This helps encourage children and young people to engage with sport and attend sporting events from an early age.
The platform has been designed to deliver a simple and integrated digital experience. Through a single account, users can discover eligible events, track their participation, points balance and membership tier, and view and redeem the available rewards, offers and experiences.
Hayyoh places fans at the heart of the sporting experience by transforming attendance from simply watching an event into an ongoing journey of participation, engagement and reward. In doing so, it helps build a more sustainable relationship between fans and sport and strengthens fan attendance across a wide range of sporting events.
The partner network is a key component of the Hayyoh ecosystem, providing the rewards, offers and experiences that users can access in exchange for the points they collect. This creates added value for participation and opens the way for the platform’s benefits to be further developed and diversified in the future. Alongside its current partners, the platform remains open to welcoming additional partners in the coming period.
