Teens take centre stage at Youth Fest 2026 in Al Bidda Park

Qatar Museums' Youth Center (QM) has announced a partnership with the "Erthna" Center to launch the Youth Festival 2026, which brings together more than 35 partners, sponsors and more than 120 community contributors, at the Youth Center at the Expo Building in Al Bidda Park from November 5 to 7.
The second edition of the Youth Festival returns as a forum for youth and organizations as part of a program designed to encourage the exchange of ideas, build skills, and provide opportunities for networking and discovery.
The festival brings together partners and contributors from the local community working in the fields of education, arts and culture, sustainability, health, technology and games, sports, entrepreneurship and youth development. It is primarily aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 19 and welcomes the participation of families and different segments of society.
As part of this partnership, the Youth Festival will be a youth platform par excellence at Qatar Sustainability Week, highlighting the issues that are at the forefront of this category from a sustainability perspective.
Led by the Heritage Centre, Qatar Sustainability Week is a national initiative that brings together institutions, organizations, businesses and community members through events, activities and public engagement focused on the theme of sustainability.
Mr. Abdulrahman Al Ishaq, Director of the Youth Center, said in a statement today that the expansion of the Youth Festival 2026 reflects Qatar's growing commitment to providing opportunities for young people, as its importance is not limited to the number of organizations and contributors involved, but also extends to the active roles played by young people themselves as creators, artists, entrepreneurs, volunteers and leaders.
Dr. Gonzalo Castro de la Mata, Executive Director of the Heritage Center, explained that the return of the festival has given young people a platform to exchange ideas, develop skills, and play a prominent role during Qatar Sustainability Week, stressing that young people are full of valuable perceptions about sustainability challenges that affect their lives.
