Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality has reminded residents that they can request insect and rodent control services if they are experiencing problems with mosquitoes or other pests.
The reminder comes during Qatar’s rainy season, when standing water and changing weather conditions can create environments where mosquitoes are more likely to breed.
Residents can submit a request through the Ministry’s Oun mobile app, use the Ministry of Municipality’s online services, or contact the Unified Call Center on 184.
How to request the service
The Ministry of Municipality’s insect and rodent control service covers different types of pests found inside homes and other eligible facilities.
Applications submitted online require users to log in through Qatar’s Tawtheeq national authentication system and provide the required information, including identification details.
The service can also be requested directly through the Oun app.
For residents who prefer to speak to the Ministry, requests and enquiries can be made through the 184 Unified Call Center.
