Qatar Chamber and UNESCO Explore Cooperation on AI Ethics and Innovation

Qatar Chamber and UNESCO have discussed potential cooperation in innovation, technology and artificial intelligence ethics during the 4th Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, held in Riyadh from September 14 to 17.

The discussions covered responsible adoption of emerging technologies by private-sector institutions, applying international standards and principles, and helping companies—including small businesses and startups—use AI responsibly. The two sides also discussed a possible cooperation agreement focused on AI governance and ethics training, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives for the private sector.
