Qatar Embassy Urges Citizens to Avoid Paris Gatherings, Highlights Night-Time Curfew
The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Paris has urged Qatari citizens to exercise maximum caution and avoid all forms of gatherings ahead of demonstrations scheduled for Saturday, 24 October 2026, in several neighbourhoods of the French capital.
In its public advisory, the embassy referred to planned demonstrations in different parts of Paris and urged citizens to follow instructions issued by the relevant French authorities.
The embassy also highlighted a night-time curfew announced by French authorities in designated areas around Place de la République, Les Halles and neighbouring districts. The restriction applies from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The curfew is not citywide. Official guidance published by the City of Paris confirms that restrictions apply to specified parts of Place de la République and Les Halles.
