Qatar Launches E-Commerce Licence Covering 194 Activities

Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched a new E-Commerce Licence, allowing businesses to conduct 194 approved commercial activities through their own websites. The licence costs QAR 500 to issue, and applications can be submitted electronically through the Single Window platform.

The ministry said the licence is part of a broader package of digital services introduced that week, alongside an updated website, an expanded Qatar Business Map and new services through its mobile app.
