Qatar SJC Completes 12,136 Transactions Through Virtual Employee Service

Qatar's Supreme Judiciary Council has completed 12,136 electronic transactions through its Virtual Employee service on WhatsApp since the platform was launched.

The transactions were recorded between 1 July 2025 and 31 August 2026, including 1,147 transactions in August 2026 alone. The service, launched in July 2025 through the council's dedicated WhatsApp number 44597777, allows users to access selected judicial services electronically.

The council has expanded its digital services to include electronic court services and remote litigation. During the first quarter of 2026, courts processed 5,052 cases through video-based remote litigation and registered 777 new cases electronically.

The SJC said its digital transformation aims to improve procedural efficiency, expand access to judicial services and reduce the need for physical visits to court facilities.
