A number of Qatari professionals from the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy are taking part in the organisation of the FIFA World Cup 2026, continuing the transfer of knowledge and expertise gained through Qatar’s hosting of major international tournaments, most notably the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Abdulaziz Fakhro – Venue Management | San Francisco, California
Abdulaziz Fakhro is among the Qatari professionals carrying the legacy of Qatar 2022 into the FIFA World Cup 2026. He is currently based at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium in Santa Clara, where he works within the venue management team responsible for stadium readiness before and during matches.

Sultan Al Obaidan, Venue Operations Manager at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, is currently carrying out his duties at Los Angeles Stadium during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
