The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has announced a temporary suspension of maritime navigation in Qatar as part of precautionary measures aimed at ensuring public safety.

In an official statement, the Ministry called on owners of maritime vessels — both individuals and companies — to suspend maritime trips until further notice. The move comes against the backdrop of recent regional developments and reflects the State’s commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and security.

The MOT urged all concerned parties to adhere strictly to the announcement. It added that it continues to coordinate with relevant authorities and will provide updates as new information becomes available through official channels.
