The Arab League has condemned what it described as continued Iranian attacks on Kuwait, including a missile and drone attack reported on September 3.
In a statement, the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for measures taken by the country to protect its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Arab League stressed its rejection of continued violations of the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of an Arab state.
It warned that the continued targeting of Arab countries risks further increasing regional tensions and undermining efforts aimed at containing the escalation.
The League also renewed its rejection of attempts to transfer military conflicts and confrontations onto the territories of Arab states or expose their populations, facilities and resources to danger.
It called for an immediate halt to the attacks and urged respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states, international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
