The Mahanama College Old Boys' Association (OBA) Qatar Chapter successfully organised the Golden Bowling Championship (GBC) Season 3 on 19th June at the Qatar Bowling Federation in Doha.
Now in its third year, the tournament has become a key community sporting event for Sri Lankan expatriates in Qatar. This year's edition featured both team and individual categories, with total 30 OBA/ alumni teams competing across the Cup, Plate, Bowl, and Shield categories, alongside ladies' teams, mixed teams, and over 40 individual contestants.
Approximately 250 attendees including players, family members, community representatives, and sponsors were present, creating a vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly rivalry.
The evening concluded with an awards ceremony, recognising top performers across all categories and celebrating the spirit of community and sportsmanship that GBC continues to represent.
