Qatar Charity Projects Reach More Than 10 Million People In 40 Countries

Qatar Charity implemented humanitarian and development projects worth approximately QAR 809 million between January and the end of July 2026, reaching more than 10 million people in 40 countries, according to a report issued by the organisation.

The report said humanitarian and relief interventions exceeded QAR 236 million across 31 countries, benefiting around 5.8 million people. The response focused on emergencies in Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia and Syria, as well as support for refugees and displaced people, including Rohingya refugees.

Qatar Charity also launched a technical centre for information and crisis management to strengthen early monitoring and accelerate decision-making.

Under its sustainable development work, the organisation implemented 11,114 projects in 44 countries at a cost of approximately QAR 573 million, benefiting more than 4.2 million people. The projects focused on water, healthcare, education, economic empowerment and food security, with priority given to initiatives that can be delivered quickly and create lasting impact.

The report added that more than 225,000 people are supported through Qatar Charity’s Rofaqa initiative, including orphans, families in need, students of knowledge and people with disabilities. Support includes livelihood, education and values-based programmes, including the Furqan Quran education programme and an international category for Rofaqa children within the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition.
