Qatar Stars League Foundation Approves Annual Report and Reviews Statute Amendment Proposal

The Ordinary General Assembly of the Qatar Stars League Foundation (QSL) approved the annual report on the foundation's activities, the audited financial statements for the completed financial year and the independent auditor's report at its meeting on Thursday, September 10. The assembly also considered a proposal to amend the foundation's statutes.

The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Stars League Foundation; QSL Chief Executive Officer Hani Taleb Ballan; members of the Executive Committee; heads and representatives of club companies that are members of the General Assembly; and the foundation's executive directors.

The foundation said it would continue working and co-operating with the clubs to support its objectives and contribute to the development of Qatar football at all levels.

Sheikh Hamad wished Qatar's national teams success in their upcoming competitions and important fixtures, expressing hope that their results would reflect the standing and ambitions of Qatar football. He also wished everyone success in the new 2026-2027 football season.

Hani Taleb Ballan reviewed the meeting's agenda, including items related to the foundation's work and activities during the previous period, as well as plans and directions for continuing the development of Qatar's football system.
