Al Sadd Beat Al Gharafa 4-1 to Reclaim Doha Bank Stars League Top Spot

Al Sadd reclaimed top spot in the Doha Bank Stars League with a commanding 4-1 victory over Al Gharafa in Week 3 of the 2026-2027 season at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Yousef Abdulrazaq opened the scoring in the fifth minute before Claudinho doubled Al Sadd's advantage in the 12th minute, sending the defending champions into half-time with a two-goal lead.

Akram Afif made it 3-0 in the 50th minute as Al Sadd continued to control the match. Yacine Brahimi reduced the deficit for Al Gharafa in the 82nd minute, but Roberto Firmino completed the 4-1 victory in stoppage time.

The result maintained Al Sadd's perfect start to the league season, taking them to nine points from three matches and back to the top of the standings. Al Gharafa remain on three points after recording one win from their opening three games.
